PPDT is proud to be offering our 5th Bi-Annual Rattlesnake Avoidance Seminar in April. Once again we are hosting Erick Briggs of Natural Solutions K9 Rattlesnake Training, this training will be open to our clients, and to the public.
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Our August 2009 training held at 24 Paws Ranch in Ramona was a HUGE success, with over 140 dogs trained!

"I just wanted to relay a story JoJo & Ruby's Mom told me today when she dropped off the dogs for day camp. The Ridgebacks went through training on Sunday, and Monday morning the dogs were let out in the backyard and immediately came running back to the door to get back in. Turns out there was an enormous rattlesnake coiled and rattling out in the yard and the dogs were terrified! Needless to say Henry & Hope were so thankful they went through the training and can?t believe the luck that it was done just the day before. They wanted me to thank you for what you do!"
We have chosen to host Erick due to his impeccable timing and training skills. In August 2007 we trained over 30 dogs, in June 2008 we trained over 70 dogs, in May 2009 we trainer over 100. We are fortunate to be able to educate the public, especially the owners of dogs in Ramona and the Back Country of the dangers of Rattlesnakes.
This training may not be for every dog or family, it is done to teach avoidance of Rattlesnakes indigenous to our area, this can be a life or death situation that we hope to teach our dogs to avoid when we are not present to help them make the right choice.
