PUPPY PRESCHOOL - this class is for puppies under 4 months of age and will run for 3 weeks, to be offered two times during our normal 6 week session. People and their puppies are welcome to attend both 3 weeks sessions. Emphasis during our class will be on puppy play and socialization. We will discuss other issue that come with having a new puppy, such as housebreaking, biting, jumping and crate training (to include a fun game to play with our crates). This class is designed as a prep for Puppy Kindergarten and may be taken in conjunction with Puppy Kindergarten at the discretion of the instructor.

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN - this 6 week class is for dogs under 6 months old. We will talk about puppy issues such as house breaking, nipping, spay/neuter and nutrition. We will be coving all the basic skills that every good dog should have. To include name game, sit, down, stand, wait/stay, leave it, recall, off, and leash walking. This class will also allow for puppy play time as long as the dogs are appropriate. Emphasis is placed on social skills, handling, bite inhibition, attention and preventing behavioral issues. Puppies must have at least 2 rounds of vaccinations to attend. Introduction of a clicker is encouraged but not necessary.
Pre-requisite: NO aggression issues.

BASIC OBEDIENCE - this 6 week class is for dogs over 6 months old. We will be covering all the basic skills, to include name game, sit, down, stand, wait/stay, leave it, recall, off, handling games and leash walking. Emphasis is placed on social skills, handling, attention and preventing or recognizing behavioral issues. Introduction of a clicker is encouraged but not necessary.
Pre-requisite: NO aggression issues.

INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE - this class is a continuation of the Puppy Kindergarten or the Basic Obedience classes. We will be working on more life skills as well as the skills for the Canine Good Citizen test. To include: Go to Bed/Crate, Loose Leash Walking, Side/Close, Sit to Greet. Introduction of a clicker is encouraged but not necessary.
Pre-requisite: Attendance of Puppy/Basic class or Board & Train, if coming from a different training school a pre-class consult may be required for entry.
