All of our classes emphasis strong ground and handling skills for both you and your dog. Our classes are open to those that would like to compete, are competing and need a refresher or for those looking for a fun new avenue with their dog.
Skills that we start with include buja board, ladder, tippy board, stairs, one jump work, perch work, teaching of the front cross, rear cross, post turn and reverse flow pivot. We teach the dogs to learn lines and to read the handlers body cues by using Shadow Handling.
We teach the handling methods of Greg & Laura Derrett, as well as Susan Garrett.
Dogs and handlers must have completed two or more positive obedience classes, have basic control of the dog and have good social skills. A paid pre-class consult may be required for entry.
AT THIS TIME WE ARE ONLY TEACHING AGILITY IN PRIVATE LESSONS.
